We gather for worship every Sunday at 11 AM

Our worship service is a time for us to center ourselves on God, express gratitude for the blessings in our lives, ask forgiveness for our shortcomings, and to be inspired and empowered to live out the way of Jesus in our lives and world.

We use a traditional Reformed liturgy and sing a wide variety of music ranging from classic hymns, to worship choruses, and beautiful classical music. Our sermons are based on the Bible, and seek to be practical and relevant, challenging our thinking and encouraging us to follow Jesus more closely every week.

On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate communion and host a coffee hour after our service, which is a wonderful time to meet the SRC family over some coffee, tea, and pastries! We hope you’ll join us!

  • Currently, we do not offer childcare during the service because we desire children and people of all age to worship, learn, and grow together as one diverse community. This means that we welcome you and any little ones you may have, even if they cry, make a little noise, or need to run around a bit!

  • When we say that we’re inclusive, we mean that no matter who you are, who you love, or how you identify, you’re welcome to participate in the full life of our church, including becoming a member, serving in our ministries, or becoming a leader in our community. This includes women, the LGBTQIA+ community, people of all backgrounds, differently-abled people, neurodivergent people, doubters, skeptics, seekers- we really mean everyone, because we believe that all people are made in the image and likeness of our Creator.

  • Besides attending our Sunday Worship gatherings, we encourage you to get involved in our other programs such a Bible Study and our community outreach ministries. We also have a short process for those who are interested in committing to being members of our community. To learn more, reach out to our Pastor!

  • Sunnyside Reformed Church is proudly part of both the Reformed Church in America and the United Church of Christ. We are a broadly Protestant community centered on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, affirming the historic faith expressed in the Apostles' Creed. While our congregation reflects a wide range of beliefs and perspectives, we are united in our commitment to follow Christ in word and action.
